Chadron Primary School

These students earned perfect attendance for our first quarter of school and took time out of their busy days to receive their certificates and a coupon for a free ice-cream cone from EJ's BBQ.  It is not an easy task to have perfect attendance for the entire quarter and we want to thank all of the families that made this possible for our children.  Consistent attendance in school is so very important for future success and we are so excited to honor these students!  Congratulations kiddos, keep up the GREAT work!

Chadron Primary School would like to give a HUGE THANK YOU to our Chadron Volunteer Fire Department for their visit to our school and showing students all of their equipment and vehicles.  Our students were so excited to hear about everything you do and we appreciate the fire safety you share with our children.  Parents, this is also a GREAT time to check smoke alarms in your homes and plan fire exits.  Thank you again Chadron Volunteer Fire Department!

We hope you can join us for the Parent Involvement Meeting Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. in the Chadron Primary Library.  This group brainstorms all the ways we can involve families at Chadron Primary and helps plan and organize our Penny Carnival in February.  The meetings will be held monthly and do not last more than an hour.  We hope to see you there.

Chadron Community Church has once again honored our staff at Chadron Primary School.  Pastor Jason Corbit stopped by Chadron Primary School to deliver Bean Broker gift cards with handwritten notes on each to every staff member in our building.  Our staff is so fortunate to have the Chadron Community wrap their arms around us and we cannot thank C3 Church enough for all they have done to recognize and honor us.  Thank you for your continued support of all we do!

Chadron State College Wrestling Team has been visiting Chadron Primary School on Fridays and our children have been thrilled.  These gentlemen have come rain and shine to make connections with our students and we are so grateful to have these hardworking, respectful men on our campus.  They have a tremendous amount of patience with our littlest students and are great role models exhibiting our three Cardinal Rules: 1) Be Safe, 2) Be Respectful, and 3) Be Responsible.  A huge thank you to Coach Brett Hunter for bringing your student athletes to visit, good luck this season and we look forwar

Lunchtime Solutions offers a variety of healthy choices for breakfast and lunch and we encourage balanced meals for all students.  We ask that if you are sending breakfasts or lunches from home, you also offer a variety of fruits/vegetables, dairy, grains, and proteins.  Candy and soda are not allowed in our school lunch program, thank you for respecting that protocol.  If you are sending something that requires reheating, we ask that you discuss this with your child prior to sending it in his/her lunch.  We have two microwaves available during lunch; however, these are not available during

Our little birds are hard at work blending sounds to make words and we are so proud of our Kindergarten students for catching on so quickly!  This group of children was so excited to show off their newly learned skills and we want to encourage their continued success!!  Roll Little Birds - we are so proud of you!
